Vacancy available: cnc lathe setter (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Williamson County, Texas. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
