Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
