Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Surulere

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Surulere, Oyo State. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 3+ years on the tools preferred.
