Milling machinist — Gladwin County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Gladwin County, Michigan. The job is at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
