Day to day you will operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police.
