Hoist operator wanted in Leon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Leon County, Florida. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
