Garden maintenance worker • Scott County, Kansas

Join our team: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Scott County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
