Great opportunity: slinger signaller (Benue State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Logo, Benue State. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Rotating shifts.
