Laundry presser wanted in Daviess County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Daviess County, Kentucky. You will be based in a busy laundry. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On the job you will handle: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Six days a week, one day off.
