Bar waiter — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar waiter in Franklin County, Alabama. You will be based in a coffee shop. On a typical shift you will take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery. Requirements: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
