VMC operator • Jackson County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Jackson County, Texas. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery You will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines.
