Mechanical press operator — Ware County

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Ware County, Georgia. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On a typical shift you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; record output and downtime on the production sheet; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area.
