Die-casting operator — Kosofe

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Kosofe, Lagos State. You will be based on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
