Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Paulding County, Ohio. The job is in a toolroom. On the job you will handle: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
