Port container crane operator — Dodge County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Dodge County, Nebraska. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging You will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
