Formwork erector — Gombe

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork erector in Gombe, Gombe State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
