Garment presser — Austin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Austin County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
