Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Rogers County, Oklahoma. The job is at a garment factory. Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
