Crawler dozer operator — Somerset

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Somerset, England. Day-to-day duties: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around £2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
