Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Douglas County, Nevada. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. On the job you will handle: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Score the top of loaves before baking • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
