Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Mashi

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Mashi, Katsina State. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Six days a week, one day off.
