Track-type tractor operator • Broward County, Florida

Great opportunity: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Broward County, Florida. You will work at an open-cast mine. The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $15 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
