Mining dozer operator — Rock County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Rock County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Day to day you will maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
