Immediate opening: press shop operator (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Trafford, England. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading On the job you will handle: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Full-time, day shift.
