Heavy equipment operator — Morgan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Morgan County, Illinois. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Requirements: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Day to day you will track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
