Machine operator (earthworks) — Alachua County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Alachua County, Florida. You will be based on a housing development site. Day-to-day duties: • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Requirements: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Part-time with flexible hours.
