Die-casting operator — Zing

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Zing, Taraba State. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale 3+ years on the tools preferred.
