Vacancy available: stamping press operator (Ohio)

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Meigs County, Ohio. You will work at an auto components factory. The role involves: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
