Shakeout operator — Ashoknagar

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Ashoknagar, Madhya Pradesh. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Ideally you have comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
