Great opportunity: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Summit County, Utah. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Ideal candidate: • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Full-time, day shift. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
