Fusing press operator wanted in Deschutes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Deschutes County, Oregon. Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Full-time with occasional weekends.
