Immediate opening: backhoe operator (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Marion County, Illinois. You will work on a housing development site. Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites The role involves: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Rotating shifts.
