Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections The role involves rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
