Crawler crane operator — Kumbotso

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Kumbotso, Kano State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Rotating shifts.
