Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Accomack County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Accomack County, Virginia. You will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
