Backhoe operator • Ikeja, Lagos State

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Ikeja, Lagos State. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. On a typical shift you will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
