D6/D8 dozer operator — Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Wayne County, Kentucky. The job is at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
