Track-type tractor operator wanted in DeWitt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in DeWitt County, Illinois. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
