Groundsman wanted in Middlesbrough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Middlesbrough, England. You will be based on a golf course. On the job you will handle: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Meals and transport allowance provided.
