Banksman — Apache County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Apache County, Arizona. The role involves: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
