Press setter operator — Wayne County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Wayne County, Illinois. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg 4+ years on the tools preferred.
