On a typical shift you will handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; upsell starters, desserts and beverages.
