Now hiring: mechanical press operator (Assam)

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Chirang, Assam. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideally you have can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred; knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout. Day to day you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₹180 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
