Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Ferry County, Washington. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Day to day you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends.
