Shuttering fixer wanted in Baker County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Baker County, Florida. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Your main tasks: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
