Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Long County, Georgia. You will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
