Furniture maker — Dimmit County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Dimmit County, Texas. Day to day you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Six days a week, one day off.
