Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Hanover County, Virginia. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work On a typical shift you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
