Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Webster County, Iowa. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Your main tasks: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Six days a week, one day off.
