Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator in Logan County, Kentucky. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones On a typical shift you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger.
